Biography
Aaron joined NCICS in 2024 as a front-end developer for the Assessment Technical Support Unit (TSU). With six years of experience as a software engineer, he previously worked at several Ad-Tech startups, and a popular streaming service, while specializing in building internal software solutions. Additionally, Aaron was an assistant Full Stack Web Development instructor at coding bootcamps in Denver and Boulder, Colorado.
Before transitioning into software engineering, Aaron pursued teaching English as a second language in various countries, including Thailand, Korea, and Mexico. He also dedicated himself to environmental conservation as a trail crew member for the Southwest Conservation Corps (an affiliate of Americorp), where he helped build and maintain trails in rugged landscapes such as the Lincoln National Forest near White Sands, New Mexico, and the San Juan National Forest in Southwestern Colorado.
Aaron holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, where he actively participated in Engineers without Borders, contributing to the construction of vital water systems in Chimborazo, Ecuador.
