Iype Eldho

Iype Eldho graduated with a master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University. He joined NCICS as a Climate Data Analyst (Research Associate) in January 2025. He specializes in data analysis of the Standard Precipitation Index and the Standardized Precipitation-Evapotranspiration Index, using machine learning models to predict and cluster drought events. Currently, he is working on a deep learning climate downscaling model to enhance spatial resolution.

Mr. Eldho also holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science in Pilani, India. During his studies there, he worked at the Samsung Research Institute on machine learning for 6G Network simulators.
