8th Annual Science Symposium

The 8th Annual Science Symposium, sponsored by the NOAA/NESDIS Cooperative Research Program and hosted by the Cooperative Institute of Climate and Satellites – North Carolina, will be held August 17 – 18, 2011 in Asheville, NC. The preliminary agenda and registration, hotel, and more general information is posted on the CoRP Research Symposium website.

Abstracts for this Symposium are solicited on the following theme:

USING SATELLITE OBSERVATIONS AND MODELS TO UNDERSTAND AND COMMUNICATE INFORMATION ON CLIMATE VARIABILITY AND CHANGE

Please submit your abstract electronically via email by 1 July 2011 to jennifer@ncics.org. An abstract fee is not required. Authors of accepted presentations will be notified via email by early-mid July 2011.

All extended abstracts (up to 1MB or via a FTP site) are to be submitted electronically by 29 July 2011 and will be available online. Instructions for formatting extended abstracts will be posted on the CoRP Research Symposium website (http://www.cicsnc.org/corp/).
