CICS Science Meeting 2011

CISC-NC is hosting the 2011 CICS Science Meeting, which is being held at NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information in Asheville, North Carolina. Please use the links on the right side to navigate this site.
PURPOSE, GOALS, and THEMES
The purpose of this meeting is to describe ongoing and potential CICS research projects, to learn about potential collaborative research activities from NOAA scientists, and to facilitate interaction among the participants and their respective institutions. The meeting will include brief presentations of ongoing research from funded projects and roundtable discussions on the CICS themes, which are broadly categorized as observation, prediction and Earth system understanding.

ORAL PRESENTATION INFORMATION
Please e-mail Jennifer Roshaven (jennifer@ncics.org) the Powerpoint or PDF presentation by October 31, 2011, COB. If the file size exceeds 5 MB, please submit via the FTP site (e-mail her for additional information). NCEI has a strict IT screening policy that requires us to have each presentation screened before it can be uploaded to a NOAA computer.
Please refer to the program agenda for your presentation date and time. Each speaker will have 15 minutes.
Presentation will be preloaded on a PC computer equipped with Microsoft Office. There is a wireless microphone and a podium microphone, display screen, and electronic timer.
