On April 30, 2019, Scott Stevens appeared live on the AMHQ program on The Weather Channel, speaking with Jim Cantore and Stephanie Abrams about recent research on the effects of precipitation on the risks of fatal car crashes in the US. Scott worked with NCICS colleagues Carl Schreck and Ken Kunkel on the project, along with co-authors from the Centers for Disease Control and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
